On July 18-20 the 7th Grade Team along with a contingent of 6th Graders( Mo, Jen, Emilee and Shannon) particpated in the West Coast National Championship put on by Jam On it. In their first actual game (first game was a forfeit win) contest the girls met a tough Rocklin Rimshakers team that presented a high pressure defense, creating numerous turnoversleading to a runaway loss. In their next contest the girls were ready to go and put constant pressure on the Delta Dynamite leading to a 50-39 victory. That victory resulted in a Second Place finish for our girls. Great job ladies!!!

A special Thank you to Mo, Jen, Emilee and Shannon.

The 7th Grade team started strong by playing strong defense and displaying a balanced offensive attack, defeating the SAS Fury in OT, 30-28. Turnovers were the culprit in their next two games falling to the Hayward Swoosh and then the Pacific Pistols-Gold in their final contest of the day. The girls continue to show glimpses of their overall talent. Good work Ladies!

A special thank you to Mo for her contributions this weekend!

The 7th and 8th grade teams combined forces participating in the 8th grade bracket at the recent SAS tournament. The girls played well in their first two games of the day defeating the Delta Valley Raiders and the Redding Wolfpack earning the top seed in their bracket and a championship game against the Stockton Mustangs in the last game of the day. The girls couldn't quite pull things together and lost in the championship game settling for a 2nd place finish. Good effort girls!
